Bendigo Junior Football League
The Bendigo Junior Football League has a rich tradition in Inter-leagues with healthy rivalries being formed over the years.

In 1974 the Bendigo v Preston-Reservoir Inter-league Matches commenced in Under 16's with Under 12's being introduced in the 80's.
In 1986 the Goldfields Rivalry commenced between Bendigo and Ballarat. See below the records from 1986 to current. ​

Today the Bendigo Junior Football League are involved in two Inter-league rivalries. One against Ballarat FNL in the Goldfields Challenge and the other against Goulburn Murray Junior League and Murray Football League. The GMJL and MFL round robin commenced in 2023 with the Shepparton District Junior Football League and the BJFL having games against each other since 2013.
